Get Involved with us!
There are many ways to get involved at Empowerment. The first and most important thing you can do is show up and start using the space. You can host events here, donate something on our wishlist, or volunteer your time. We are always looking for new volunteers to help keep the place open. You can sign up for one of our regular 7-10PM evening shifts, or you can help us expand our hours by committing to take on a new shift at any other time. If you're a traveller and can't commit to a weekly shift there is usually something that can be done to help if you just stop in. You can help us clean the space, organize books, set up a table at an event, press some buttons, design and/or put up posters for an event, renovate, garden, etc.
